Here at the Marpole Curling Club we pride ourselves on being the friendliest group of curlers you’ll ever meet. With a focus on recreational curling, our club offers something for everyone, and is committed to providing the highest standard of service to participants of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
Our facility was built in 1959 and still holds the same inviting atmosphere that it did back then. With six sheets of ice, a cafe, bar/lounge, games room and meeting room, we are able to accommodate events of all kinds. We are continuing to work on our club to ensure it is up-to-date, while still respecting its history and character.

Our facility is full of character and includes six sheets of ice, lower & upper viewing areas, a cafe, and a spacious lounge with a walk-up bar. Curling is a true sport for life. From the youth to the elderly, it has something to offer everyone with a variety of adapted versions of the game. BC is home to oldest curler in the world at 102 years old. Curling is an excellent recreational sport which offers physical activity & social interaction.
Each Sheet rents at $160.00 for two hours including tax and equipment. Visit our online booking system to book your curling sheets. Spots available for booking will appear as appointments. We’re friendly and social here at the Marpole Curling Club, and know that a good friendship takes effort from both sides. That’s why we’re committed to keeping in touch with all the important (and sometimes not as important, but just plain fun) information you need. We had a blast curling at the Marpole Curling Club! We are a group of very novice curlers that rented the entire club for a friendly event. The club met all of our needs and more. The instruction was friendly and clear and made everybody, even the greenest of curlers, feel comfortable. We ate and drank well and at very reasonable rates in the lounge over looking the ice. When the event concluded, most of the participants were already asking about next year’s event and where they could sign up for beginners leagues. We are looking forward to returning next year! “I just took a lesson with Robbie Gallaugher (Sept 12th) and was very pleased. I started curling last year and Robbie quickly picked up on what I needed help with technically. He made it easy to understand and really helped me in the short time we had together. He also showed me some drills I could do to work on the tips he gave me.
